This paper systematizes the most relevant events in the history of cryptomining in Paraguay, determining the milestones and periods from its origin to the present. Also, focusing on the last legislative period, it identifies the different positions taken by the actors involved.
The information was gathered through in-depth interviews with key actors and the review of archives of national and international media repositories, as well as previous studies and reports.
