“Transparent Resources – Tensions in democracy: raising awareness about the improper use of public resources” is a local initiative of which TEDIC was a part. Through it, it seeked to raise awareness among citizens and work on the de-naturalization of the inappropriate use of public resources. This initiative covered issues related to citizen participation and the efficient and transparent use of public assets, and encourages more and more citizens to feel involved in the debates around the comprehensive management of these assets. The initiative also aimed to make visible not only the actions of civil society and this coalition, particularly with regard to the transparent use of public resources and denouncing acts of corruption, but also to make visible the actions of the government in said matter, as well as the channels it offers to denounce abuses in the public administration.
